Charging station thermal control solution

The heat dissipation issue (charging cable and charging station power electronics) is a problem that charging stations must solve in the direction of high-power charging. By adopting liquid cooling mode (i.e. setting a cooling circulation channel between the cable and the charging gun), it can achieve higher temperature reduction effect and increase service life.

Charging cable liquid cooling refers to setting up a dedicated circulation channel between the cable and the charging gun, adding cooling liquid for heat dissipation in the channel. The cooling liquid is transported to the charging gun and charging cable through a circulation pump, absorbing heat and returning to the cooling system's radiator. The high-temperature cooling liquid in the radiator is cooled by the circulating fan, and the cooled liquid returns to the charging gun and charging cable for heat dissipation.

The liquid cooling of the charging pile can be equipped with an internal or external air cooling system. The cooling liquid is transported to the internal heating element cold plate of the charging pile through a circulating pump, absorbs heat, and returns to the cooling system's radiator. The high-temperature cooling liquid in the radiator is cooled by the circulating fan that draws in ambient air, and the cooled liquid returns to the cold plate for heat dissipation.
